One of the best "diet" books I've read, and I've read a lot! Well written, easy to understand and the advice is simple to follow.
I've lost 25kg in 6 months following the principles outlined in this book, without hunger or feeling deprived at all. I feel like I've finally woken up after years of living in a miserable, low-fat high-carb stupor... read this book and reclaim your life!
It helps to realize that it is what you eat not how much you eat and counting calories that really makes the difference
Dr. Briffa gives a clear presentation of the case for the benefits of low carb eating. It is compelling and well documented, but still understandable for the general audience. His eating plan is easy to follow and it works!
Don't see much difference between the content and that if Dr. Atkins only that this one is full of scientific research. Didn't add much to what I already know from Atkins
I have read a few books on low carb eating plans and this one really impressed me. I liked the background information a so the why and then the research to back the claims up. I also particularly liked the simplicity he puts forward in what you need to do. I am starting this first thing in the morning.
